The 1958 Arkansas State Indians football team represented Arkansas State College—now known as Arkansas State University—as an independent during the 1958 college football season. Led by first-year head coach Hugh Taylor, the Indians compiled a record of 4–5. The 1958 season would be the first season in which Arkansas State would play against a top-25 team in No. 18 Florida.
