Miss Universe 2025 will be the 74th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held at the Impact Challenger in Pak Kret, Thailand, on 21 November 2025. Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Background
Location and date
On 16 November 2024, at Miss Universe 2024, pageant co-owner Raúl Rocha Cantú announced that the shortlisted host cities for the 74th edition of the pageant were Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Morocco, India, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand. The Miss Universe Organization announced Thailand as the host country on 7 February 2025, designating the Impact Challenger in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi Province, as the central venue with ancillary events scheduled for Phuket and Pattaya. This will mark the fourth time that Thailand hosted the pageant, and the third time the event will be held in the said venue after the 2005 and 2018 pageants.
Selection of participants
In this edition saw the participation of married women and mother to compete in the pageant, with participation of Diana Fast of Germany.
Debuts, and returns
This edition will mark the debut of Saudi Arabia, and will feature the return of Iraq, Kosovo, Panama and South Africa. Iraq last competed in 2017, while Kosovo, Panama and South Africa last competed in 2023.
